Tiring day
Too tired to write very much. It’s gone nine. Today I met second man, Eric. Not sure. He seemed old but very bright. Will wait and see if he wants to see me again. After that, I hit the shops as I badly needed a raincoat after ruining mine on last trip to London. Also bought 2 dresses. I made sure to get home after my lodger left to see his girlfriend as I wanted to avoid having to talk to him. I’ve just been working on the second in my series of guides for writers. It’s done and ordered so if it arrives quickly, and my friendly local proof reader has time, it should be ready to take to Swanwick. .
