No, the blind date didn’t work out well. In the flesh he seemed much older and flabbier too. It’s such a shame as he sounded amazing on the phone. I’m not sure he was impressed by me either!
I’ll check at the weekend to see if the ad had any more replies. Meanwhile, it’s carry on looking.
Sorry the blind date didn't work out. Fifty two years ago, I went on a blind date. It worked out okay and we carried on seeing each other. Two years later, we got married. We are still together today, so sometimes you do meet the right guy - or boy, as it was in my case at the time.
