The Co–op who also want to quote for
probate and estate services sent me a very long list of documentation they would
like to see in order to quote (the solicitor in Exeter says it could cost two
or three thousand pounds, maybe more).
It makes me wonder how people cope. The
last thing you need when somebody dies is to end up owing money to a solicitor.
The problem is that, for me, the past was a bad unhappy place. Everything I’ve
done this past six months has been with a view to looking forward and letting go
of the past. Now I have to wade back through it.
I just want it to end.
